As a consequence of the RFU decision released on 14 August 2026, the start of the Community Rugby Season (Regional 1 and below) has been delayed until Monday, 21 September 2026. This means that our first league game of the season will be against West Hartlepool at home on Saturday, 26 September, KO 3pm.
The opening two fixtures of the season due to have been played before the RFU decision have been rearranged as follows:
Morpeth at Home will now take place on Saturday, 19 December 2026
Novocastrians away will now take place on Saturday 10 October 2026.
KO times for both matches to be confirmed.
There are, however, two pre-season friendly matches that will take place at Preston Avenue as follows:
Alnwick 5 September KO 3pm
Pontefract 19 September KO 3pm
