Percy Park Pirates - About Us


Percy Park Pirates were established in 2002 and have been apart of Percy Park RFC since the beginning. We run Social Touch sessions every week and also enter a competitive side into the Challenge Touch series that is held around the country.

Touch is a semi contact version of rugby where instead of tackles you have 6 'touches' to score a touchdown. It's great for fitness, getting back into rugby and is a very sociable game. We welcome players of all ages and genders as well as any experience level.

We have a wide variety of playing opportunities from social sessions, internal competitive leagues and national tournaments right up to Regional Selection which can lead to International representation. Pirates are affiliated with England Touch which is the official Governing Body for Touch played to FIT rules.

Every Thursday 7.00-8.30pm.
We have a winter break from early December to mid January. Check our Facebook page for the lastest information. 
 
Costs per session

2 FREE taster sessions for new players.
Guest Adult: £4.00           Guest Student: £3.00          Guest Junior: £2.00
Full membership discounts available and will be discussed on registration.
 
We recommend that all players purchase an annual England Touch Membership which acts as their insurance cover for all ETA and Pirate events. 

Pirates into the England Training Squads

A few of our Pirates headed to Driotwich to take part in the Junior and Masters Touch Nationals in October. Our players represented us in the Northern Diamonds (W35s), North East Raiders Masters (M45s) and the Northern Stars (M15s, G18s, B18s & X18s).
